Build a study mix you can settle into
Start with rain or a river at a low volume. Add instrumental piano or lo-fi music if you like a soundtrack, then adjust each layer separately. If a sound draws your attention away from reading, turn it down or leave it out. Your mix can change with the work.
Give one task a little structure
Write a specific goal, such as reviewing one chapter or drafting an outline. Open the study timer for a countdown, or choose Pomodoro mode to alternate focus periods and breaks. The timer is optional: you can keep the screen clear when you prefer an open-ended session.
Choose a view that fits the task
Try a cozy room or a nature background. Animated scenes can make the space feel alive; a still image is another option when movement feels distracting. Quotes, goals and sticky notes can be moved, resized or hidden, so your virtual desk only holds what you need.
Save a nook for next time
Use Saved Ambiences to name your background, sound mix and panel arrangement. A reading nook can be different from a writing nook. Your settings stay in this browser; they do not automatically sync to another device.
Make it your own
Explore the backgrounds and sound controls, then keep the tools that suit you. Your nook can be as simple or as detailed as you want.
